Apple Cheese Wraps

This week we are bringing you 7 simple treats for lunchboxes to inspire you as the new school year begins. Your kiddos can help out with making all of them, and then they’ll be excited about their lunches! Sometimes you only need a new presentation in order to make the same old thing seem exciting again. I’ve packed all of these items tons of times, but never in this way. My son loves sandwiches; bread is his favorite food. He was super excited when he saw me packing these into his lunch, though, and no bread was in sight!

Ingredients

  • Lunchmeat slices
  • Cheese slices (or non-dairy cheese if needed)
  • Apple slices (you could also do this with pears, peaches, plums, or nectarines)

Purchasing with Amazon Smile enables The AmazonSmile Foundation to donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to a charity of your choice.

Step 1

Slice the cheese slices in half lengthwise (your kiddo can do this with a butter knife). Fold the lunchmeat in half. Place a slice each of cheese and apple on each piece of lunchmeat and fold the lunchmeat around them. You don’t have to, but I thought adding these reusable food picks was a cute touch!
