Apple Oat Balls

This week we are bringing you 7 simple treats for lunchboxes to inspire you as the new school year begins. These are reminiscent of a Lara Bar in flavor but nut-free so they are safe for my son to take to school and my nephew with a nut allergy to enjoy. It’s a snack you can feel good about giving your kids, no sugar or scary ingredients! Adapted slightly from Weelicious

  • ¾ cup old-fashioned oats (gluten-free if you are GFCF)
  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates (check even if they say they are pitted, I still found some pits)
  • 1 ½ cups dried apple rings
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Purchasing with Amazon Smile enables The AmazonSmile Foundation to donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to a charity of your choice.

Step 1
