Hungry Caterpillar Fine Motor Activity
The Very Hungry Caterpillar was my son's favorite book for about six months. We read it at least 50 times a day and he could recite all the words and fill in the blanks everywhere in the story. Working on fine motor strength is important, but we can make it fun. Combining the story with a fine motor activity helps get rid of the "work" stigma. You can have your kiddo do as much of this activity as possible, working on three different tasks!

- Leaves (if your trees are bare, make some from green paper!)

Snip sections of yarn or twine. Punch holes in the leaves with the hole punch.
Thread the yarn through the holes.
