Initial Art With the long school break in the winter, you can go crazy coming up with things for your kids to do. Here’s a great fine motor activity that only requires a few materials and can be used as art in your kids’ rooms. Help keep our resources for families with special needs free! Step 1

Put out all your materials

Apply masking tape to canvas or paper to make an initial (or shape)

Step 3

Let the kids go to town with the dot markers!

Let the marker dry for half an hour or so before removing tape.

Step 7

Then, show off your creations!
