Lunchbox Treat: Skeleton Popcorn

Here's a low-stress way to add a festive touch to some lunchboxes this month. It's cute, and your kids can help assemble it. You don't have to cook anything if you don't want to, and your kids will be the envy of the school lunch table.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn (I popped ours in a dutch oven, but you can use microwave popcorn or bagged popcorn)
  • Yogurt-covered pretzels
  • Candy eyes

Purchasing with Amazon Smile enables The AmazonSmile Foundation to donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to a charity of your choice.

Step 1

Add the candy eyes to the bowl of popcorn.

Step 2

Add the yogurt pretzels to the bowl of popcorn and candy eyes.

Step 3

Mix it all up.

Step 4

It’s finished!

Step 5

If your popcorn is still warm, the yogurt pretzels will melt a little. We liked the way the coating mixed with the popcorn. If your kiddo doesn’t like foods mixing or wouldn’t appreciate the melting, wait until the popcorn is completely cooled before mixing.
