Teacher Gift: Cookies and Cream Bark

This time of year calls for teacher gifts. You can go on Pinterest and find a bunch of really complicated gifts that will give you a headache, or you can let your kids help thank their teachers. This bark is fast and delicious. It also looks great packaged up!

Ingredients

  • 2 12-ounce bags white chocolate chips
  • 1 16-ounce bag chocolate sandwich cookies
  • microwave-safe container for melting chocolate
  • Ziploc bags
  • Rolling pin/hammer/fists for crushing cookies
  • 8x8 pan lined with parchment

Purchasing with Amazon Smile enables The AmazonSmile Foundation to donate 0.5% of the purchase price from your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to a charity of your choice.

Step 1

Double bag the cookies and bash out all your aggression. Extra points if you make a silly face while doing it.

Step 2

Melt the while chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring between, until smooth.

Step 3

Pour white chocolate into cookie crumbs and mix.

Step 4

Stop your kid from licking the spoon.

Step 5

Spoon the whole mess into an 8x8 pan lined with parchment. Place it into the freezer to set for at least 2 hours.

Step 6

Take the pan out of the freezer, remove the bars using the parchment, and allow to sit and warm for 5-10 minutes before slicing with a sharp knife. The pieces will be rustic. Go with it.

Step 7

Package it up, label it, hand it over to teachers! Done!
